Florida Seafood Recipe

Scallops with Pasta

Ingredients
1 10-ounce package linguine or angel hair pasta
1 pound Florida scallops
1 small onion, minced
1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
2 tablespoons butter
  salt to taste
  pepper to taste
1/2 cup chopped parsley
3 tablespoons capers
1/4 cup white wine
3 lemons
 
Preparation

Prepare pasta as directed. Cook scallops in a small amount of water for 5 minutes. Drain and dry. Cook onion and bell pepper in butter until tender. Add scallops and saute; until brown. Sprinkle scallops with salt, pepper, parsley and capers. Add wine. Serve over pasta. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
